Hero and recipe sections
Homepage
Cookory’s homepage is assembled from the publication cover, theme settings, featured posts, latest posts, taxonomy links, and the optional newsletter section.
Hero section
The hero uses the Publication cover from Brand settings. Its label, title, and supporting description are editable in the three Hero fields under Customize → Homepage. If no cover is uploaded, Cookory shows a neutral placeholder instead of a broken image.
Editor’s pick
The featured area displays one post marked Featured in Ghost. Use a recipe with a strong image and a short excerpt. The section title and subtitle are editable under the Homepage settings.
Latest recipes
The latest section displays recent posts that are not marked Featured.
Discovery links
Cookory displays the four most-used tags from the publication as discovery links. For the complete four-link layout, create and assign at least four public tags to published posts. If only one, two, or three tags are available, the section displays only those available links and adjusts the layout without empty placeholders. The tag names and URLs are loaded dynamically from Ghost, so the links stay in sync with your published content. For prefixed tags such as cuisine:italian, the homepage displays only the part after the colon (italian), while the full tag URL remains active.
Newsletter section
Enable Show newsletter to display the homepage signup call-to-action. Members see an account link; visitors see a Portal signup link. Edit the title and subtitle in Homepage settings.
