Theme upload problems

Download the original marketplace zip again and upload it without changing its contents. The marketplace package is already structured for Ghost; do not add folders or rename files.

Missing homepage sections

The featured section needs at least one post marked Featured. The latest section needs published posts. The newsletter section must be enabled and Members must be configured for signup to be useful.

Recipe tools do not appear

Confirm the post uses the Recipe template and Show recipe tools is enabled. For automatic recipe detection, use the exact Ingredients and Method headings with the expected lists.

Images look wrong

Use a wide, high-quality feature image and check its focal point on mobile. Add alt text in the Ghost editor. If the homepage cover is missing, upload it under Brand → Publication cover.

Changes are not visible

Check that Cookory is the active theme, refresh in a private window, and clear any site or CDN cache. Theme settings are configured in Ghost Admin, not in the post editor.

Updating Cookory

1. Copy any custom CSS or code outside Ghost.
2. Download the latest marketplace zip.
3. Upload and activate the new version.
4. Review Theme and Brand settings.
5. Test homepage, archive, search, recipe tools, Members, and mobile layouts.
6. Reapply only compatible custom edits.
